After finishing high school, he set his sights further afield and moved to Amsterdam to study Economics at the University of Amsterdam (UvA).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"408\" data-end=\"707\">After completing his studies, Vincent spent several years professionally sailing yachts through the Indonesian archipelago, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean Sea. His love for adventure eventually led him to join Doctors Without Borders, where he worked in various regions \u2013 including Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"840\">Upon returning to the Netherlands, he began his career as a consultant with KPMG, advising major companies both at home and abroad.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"133\" data-end=\"450\"><strong data-start=\"133\" data-end=\"319\">Vincent has lived in the city of Amsterdam for many years and was one of the very first to have his own small boat on the canals \u2013 right outside his front door on the Brouwersgracht.<\/strong><br data-start=\"319\" data-end=\"322\" \/>Back in the 1980s, cruising the canals in your own boat was far from common. It certainly wasn\u2019t the familiar sight it is today.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"452\" data-end=\"673\">That\u2019s why Vincent knows Amsterdam like no other. A <strong data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"529\">boutique boat company<\/strong> suits him perfectly \u2013 it\u2019s in his blood.
